Contents of Acne No More
So what is contained in Acne No More that most people don’t really know about acne? First Mike clearly elaborates the misconceptions that many people have had about acne. He gives a list of the things that people do and products they use for healing acne that may have only aggravated the condition instead of curing.

Some include:

  • The fact that antibiotics and drugs can actually increase acne and he elaborates how this happens.
  • That creams and cleansers cannot cure acne, they are only short term solutions, he gives long term ones.
  • That acne is not a normal condition as most would assume, according to him it is an indication of an imbalance in our bodies, whose solutions he discloses.
  • In the book he goes on to explain these facts in detail hence the reader clearly understands where the problem lies.

In Acne No More, Mike discloses where many people with acne have gone wrong and why the previous treatments they may have undergone have not worked. His guide to curing acne also provides permanent solutions as opposed to other commonly used remedies like pills and cleansers which he claims only have short term effects and they only address one aspect of acne which means it can recur. The book generally breaks down the causes of acne and many other details that many acne victims may have assumed or ignored. Acne no more, provides the reader with ways of practically tackling this condition from inside as opposed to reliance on chemicals that address the external aspects of acne.

In this article I want to reveal a secret that will help you get rid of acne in just a matter of days. I had severe acne for many years before I discovered this information so read on to find out.

What many doctors and dermatologists will not tell you because most do not know this, is that the root cause of acne is imbalanced hormones. In addition to this the skincare and acne industry do not know this either and so create products that generally do the wrong thing to try and clear up acne.

So if you’ve had your acne treated without results by things such as antibiotics, accutane, face cleansers or three step herbal remedies this is why they were ineffective for you as they were for me too. They don’t treat the root cause of acne!

So the questions are why do you have imbalanced hormones in the first place and what can balance them to cure acne?

Well there’s no question that acne sufferers have a genetic pre-disposition to having imbalanced hormones that cause acne. It seems that acne sufferers are much more sensitive to the factors that imbalance hormones. But that doesn’t mean you can’t balance them and clear up your skin forever.

I’m going to talk about one of the main factors that causes the hormones that cause acne to become imbalanced. This is down to a certain food ingredient called vegetable oil which causes massive hormonal imbalance and leads to the worst types of acne including cystic acne.

When I stopped eating vegetable oil the worst of my acne cleared up in just a few days never to return.

So it’s important to learn more about vegetable oil as it’s one of the most important secret keys to being acne-free for life. Vegetable oils like sunflower oil and rapeseed oil are used in various ways in western cooking and food but can be easily be avoided so that you consume only a fraction of what you would normally consume.

Cooking with sunflower oil is fairly common and if you simply swap to butter instead then that’s a big improvement. Vegetable oils are sometimes added to food as an ingredient such as in junk foods like cookies and potato chips. By checking on the ingredients label before you buy and eat foods like this to make sure it doesn’t contain vegetable oil you can easily avoid eating it.

By making this one simple change my acne cleared up dramatically and so can yours too.

You may have been told that acne is a condition that cannot be cured and the best that you can do is to treat it with some cream or tablet. Well that is simply NOT TRUE. You CAN get rid of acne if you are prepared to take a totally different approach to solving your problem. You really can “blitz those zits” for good.

Rest assured, this is no idle claim and does not require you to sell your soul to the devil. It does however, involve a totally natural approach to dealing with your condition which may conjure up images of weird practices and black magic rituals. But nothing could be further from the truth.

Natural remedies and treatment are rapidly becoming highly popular and millions of people have discovered that not only are they equally if not more effective than conventional treatments but can, in many cases, actually cure complaints that the medical profession tells us have no cure. The natural treatment for acne is a perfect example.

Furthermore, because they are totally natural they produce no adverse, potentially harmful side effects which many drug based medications are known to do. This is perhaps the main driving force for the majority of people who have turned to natural treatments to deal with their complaints.

So how do natural treatments for acne differ from conventional treatments? How can they provide a way to get rid of acne permanently?

There is fundamental flaw in the way that conventional acne medication works. It simply treats the symptoms of the problem – those horrid zits – but does nothing to deal with the underlying factors that cause those zits to form in the first place. That is the crux of the matter.

When taking a totally natural approach to getting rid of acne, you firstly need to understand what is causing it. Actually, there are a range of factors, mostly internal, that can cause your acne to occur. In most cases, it is a combination of these factors which interact and produce the conditions that cause your zits to develop.

The main factors that can cause acne include

  • a hormonal imbalance
  • build up of toxins in your body
  • inappropriate diet and lifestyle
  • hygiene, both internal and external
  • emotional issues and stress

So you see, acne is in fact a complex condition and simply spreading some cream over the infected parts is not enough to get rid of it. You have to deal with the root cause of your problem. You must find a way to deal effectively with all the factors that are causing your acne.

Fortunately the hard work has been done for you and there are now various programs of totally natural treatment available on-line that will guide you through the whole process.

In basic terms what you need to do is:

  1. Identify which particular factors are causing the problem,
  2. Then follow a course of treatment that works by stimulating your body’s own defences into action to combat those factors.
  3. Eliminate all the causes and cure your problem.

It may sound simple but it does work. Thousands of former sufferers have proven it already. But don’t simply take my word for it. Check it out for yourself.

Do some investigation on line and you will find the help and advice that will lead you to what must be the best treatment for acne. Then, with some effort on your part and that all important guidance, you can get rid of acne, permanently.

Acne is a young person’s worst nightmare. The “curse of the zits” is there for the whole world to see. The fact that the most young people get them at some stage and will eventually grow out of them, is little consolation. So, the search for acne treatments that work is the number one concern of thousands of youngsters, whose looks are so important to them. Every day, those acne sufferers are bombarded with images of people with gloriously smooth, healthy skin and that only adds to their desperate need to find that “magic” acne cure. Consequently, the pharmaceutical companies that churn out those acne creams and lotions in vast quantities make huge profits.

So, the question that most acne sufferers ask, is where can they find that cure which will provide the relief that they long for so much. In the meantime they spend a small fortune in their search. Unfortunately for most of them, they are looking in the wrong place.

The fact that acne is a skin complaint is quite true, hence the popularity of those creams and lotions which it is claimed will clear up the problem. But this is just not possible. Acne is a condition which appears as a skin complaint but is actually caused by internal factors. This is why conventional treatments will never cure the problem but only treat it temporarily. Fortunately, you can cure those horrible zits. However, to do so, you do need to understand what causes them and then treat those causes. Simply treating the symptoms is not enough; you must deal with all the factors that are causing those symptoms to occur. The factors that cause acne can be hormonal, nutritional, chemical, psychological and environmental, so a one dimensional approach, such as taking antibiotics or applying a cream will never work. So, forget about the “magic bullet”, it does not exist. Now, having established that there numerous factors that are causing those zits, you need to take action and set about dealing effectively with all of them. Acne treatments that work, must take a holistic approach to treating the problem and will combine such remedies as:-

  • correcting a hormonal imbalance
  • modifying your diet and lifestyle
  • internal cleansing and detoxification
  • dealing with stress and other emotional problems
  • avoiding allergy triggers

… and more. The good news is that a great deal of research has gone in to solving your problem and this has resulted in the development of several holistic programs of treatment that have produced permanent relief for thousands of former sufferers. With the right guidance, you firstly establish what is causing your particular form of acne and then set about dealing with it, as a whole, with a combination of remedies such as those listed above. It will not be an overnight cure and it will require effort on your part. However, you will see results quite quickly and this will give you the encouragement to continue. So, do some investigation on-line you will be delighted to find that there are acne treatments that work and will work for you, if you choose carefully and follow the right guidance. Yes, you will finally be able to say goodbye to those zits for good.

Is blue light for acne treatment right for your acne problem? The quest for a perfect acne treatment goes on as many people around the world still suffer from these problems. If you have some acne issues, don’t feel left out and focus on finding a reliable solution. If you do a bit of research, you will be surprised how much technology has expanded to make treatments more effective and more comfortable.

These advancements might be so great that they may overwhelm you putting you in a position where you are unsure which type of acne treatment to use. No need to worry because blue light for acne treatment will likely have all the benefits that you need to finally get rid of that acne and you won’t have to make so many sacrifices just to restore your skin.

About Blue Light Therapy For Acne

This type of acne treatment uses a blue light wave to zap the bacteria that causes acne in the first place. To be treated, you normally have to use a topical lotion known as Levulan to boost the effect of the treatment. It is one of the newer technologies that professional dermatologists use to take care of acne as well as the resulting scars. Sessions with the blue light for acne treatment range from 15 to 30 minutes and you may have to go several weeks of treatment depending on your condition.

Benefits of using Blue Light Acne Therapy

What is nice about this light therapy is simply the way these treatments are effective. There are various acne lotions and types of medications that may solve your acne problems but if your body refuses to interact with those, blue light is something that can be your saviour. Even if some of the methods are effective, you still need to embrace the side effects whether it is long term or short term. Popular acne medications in the past like Accutane can cause depression while others can affect body resistance.

Blue light for acne treatment falls in that category with the laser treatments where you can avoid a good majority of these side effects since there are no potentially harmful chemicals involved. In fact, you won’t have to follow a strict schedule in taking certain antibiotics or applying an acne cream just to solve your acne problems quicker. Finally, this new form of treating acne is FDA approved so you can try with confidence as long as the dermatologist is certified.

This laser light for acne is still experimental for the long term and it can take a chunk out of your wallet since sessions can go for about $500 each. Be sure to ask your dermatologist for more information about this so he can give you a very effective method in dealing with acne. This is definitely an option to consider with its good progress and minimal side effects.

There is slight irritation to the skin and some instances of dryness, inflammation, and discoloration but the light causes no skin damage and you should not feel any pain at all. Overall, blue light for acne treatment is a rather effective method of handling moderate acne and the technology will improve further over time.

It doesn’t matter how old or young you are, these tips will help anyone and everyone improve their skin, lessen acne and even heal some acne scars and marks.

You have heard this all too often before but I will say it again.

  • Drink plenty of water. Water does a lot of things for your body and skin including hydrating your skin, cleansing the body of toxins that could get lodged in pores of the skin, and plumping the skin thus filling in some of those fine lines and keeping the blood properly thinned so as to reduce dark circles and certain kinds of “age spots”
  • Cut out the greasy foods. Yes less fast food. Believe it or not, the grease in food has to go somewhere when you eat it. The body absorbs this grease and when your body does what it does to cleanse itself, this grease is turned into extra oil which cannot get through your skins pores easily and thus causes acne.
  • Eat more veggies and fruit. Some of the best veggies for skin are green peppers, spinach, kale, parsley and any other veggie high in vitamin C. Fruits that are good for the skin are Oranges, Blueberries, Grapefruit, Lemon, Grapes and any other fruit high in vitamin C and citric acid. It is said that there are other things in these foods that help the skin but I can’t list them all here.
  • Move. Yes, working out is also good for your skin. Especially if you sweat. Sweat helps cleanse the body of impurities as well as, in a way, hydrate the skin. If you don’t normally work out or you eat a fast food diet, you may notice your sweat is rather oily and a little thick. If you are sweating it out, that is a good thing. Just don’t replace what your body got rid of in this case.

Working out also increases blood flow to your skin which brings nourishing blood, vitamins and minerals to the skin. As well as exercise just improves your overall health which lets your body produce good healthy skin cells.

  • Cleaning is important. You need to clean your skin of all that sweat and excess oil but you don’t want to strip your skin of its natural good oil. Proper cleansing for your skin type is very important as well. Don’t over clean. You will dry out your skin and damage it and that could increase acne and other skin problems.
  • Finally, rest. You need to get enough sleep so your body and your skin can repair itself from the damage of the day. Most people need 7 to 9 hours of good, solid sleep daily. Good sleep also helps with stress as does exercise.

Adopt the above items into your life and you will notice improvement in your skin tone, texture and appearance in not time flat. And better yet, you will keep acne and other skin problems from popping up. Also, skin that is well cared for by using the above tips wont need over priced creams and potions to help it look better especially as you age. I know women who look 35 but are in their 60’s and they don’t ever buy any of those anti aging creams. You can too.

If you have ever had a case of acne, then you must be familiar with the suffering of having to put up with the scars from acne. When you suffer from a severe case of acne it can leave behind some awful scars or marks that nobody likes. The scars left behind after the acne has healed are more irritating than the acne itself. While there are a few lucky persons who will have little to no scarring at all most people are not so lucky and have constant and ugly reminders of their acne.

Luckily, just because you have the scars from acne it does not mean that you will have to carry them for the rest of your life. As there are many different methods that can help you minimize or completely remove the scars from acne. Below are a few excellent and wonderful ways to get rid of the scars from acne.

Avoid getting a Breakout

The best and the most effective way of getting rid of the scars from acne and pimples is not to get an outbreak. While that in itself is extremely hard to do, as most people seem to have inherited the acne gene, there are some ways that you can reduce the amount of pimples that you get during a breakout. You can do this by keeping the pores clean and not scratching or irritating the pimples.

Do Not Pop, Squeeze or Scratch the Pimples

Scars from acne are most times caused by irritating and scratching the pimples and the skin around pimples. Once you scratch or pop a pimple, you are actually creating the base for scarring to occur. As you are increasing the odds of getting the pimple infected while at the same time spreading bacteria around your face which may cause more pimples to form. Therefore, by not irritating or scratching the pimples or zits you will be minimizing the chances of scarring.

Laser Resurfacing or Laser Surfacing

Laser surfacing or resurfacing is a form of treatment that is used to treat the scars from acne. During this treatment, the upper layers of the damaged skin are burned off using a laser. This result in the healing and restructuring of the skin from the fresh layer of skin that is left behind after the damaged skin has been removed. This normally reduces the appearance of acne scarring.

Punch Excision

Punch excision is another treatment for the scars from acne. With this acne scar treatment, the scarred skin is removed with simple excision, which will allow the dermatologist to bring the dermis back together, while getting rid of the rugged appearance of the acne scars.

Chemical Peeling

Chemical peeling is one more great treatment for acne scars. With this type of treatment a mild organic acid like salicylic or glycolic acid is applied to the skin to peel off the skin that is scarred. Once the scarred skin has been removed new layers of skin that are free of scars will replace the old ones.

Cucumber Juice

For very mild scarring applying cucumber juice to the scars from acne is a great technique to reduce the appearance of the scarred tissue. Cucumber juice is good for reducing inflammation and increasing the elasticity of the skin which means that it can help to improve the scars left behind by acne.

While there are some effective methods of removing or minimizing the scars from acne, there is no treatment that will completely get rid of the acne scars overnight. Some of these scar treatments for acne will produce some really good result. However, you should always remember that each procedure has its own risks, and it will take some time for the scars to completely disappear. Furthermore, sometimes it may take more than one treatment or a combination of procedures to give you the smoothest skin and get rid of the scars from acne.

Acne is one of the most common skin conditions that is found among people of all ages. Although teenagers are the ones who are normally seen with this condition, acne is also common for adults as well. Acne can appear anywhere on the body, although the most common areas that it is seen are on the back, chest, neck and face. As a result of this many persons are looking for solutions or treatment for acne.

If you too are searching for treatment for acne, in order to find the best acne treatment for you, you will have to first analyze your acne before you start a treatment. Acne is caused by many different factors, and many people don’t understand or know what exactly is causing their breakouts. However, if you could identify the root cause of your acne you would be better able to find the right treatment for your acne. Some of the leading causes of acne include your diet, stress, hormones, medication and makeup. Acne can also be hereditary.

Types of Treatment for acne

There are many different types of treatment for acne, these range from natural remedies to prescription creams and antibiotics most of which are focused on unclogging the pores. By finding the right treatment for acne, you can keep this condition under control. So what are the best options that you can use as treatment for acne?

The two most commonly used acne-control agents are salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. These acne fighting agents work by removing the blockages that cause the pores to become clog and form the acne.

Keeping the skin clean is not only good for hygiene but regular cleansing of the skin is another effective treatment for acne. However, you need to be a bit careful as to what you use to cleanse your skin because certain things, including astringents may do more harm than good to your acne condition. The thing is although astringents may remove excessive superficial oil buildup, they will cause pores to close and if the pores cannot breathe properly it can lead to more acne breakouts.

There are also many natural remedies that can be used as treatment for acne. These natural cures for acne are not only inexpensive, but you won’t really have to worry about any side effects, unless you are allergic to a specific ingredient that is used. These treatments include tea tree oil, which is a strong antiseptic, washing the face with warm salt water, applying apple Cider vinegar to balance the PH of the skin and making masks from various ingredients such as ground almonds and goat milk; water and baking soda or aspirin and honey.

If over-the-counter and natural remedies are not working for you, then a visit to a dermatologist might be the treatment for your acne. Your dermatologist will then be able to prescribe drugs as a treatment for acne, including oral antibiotics, to kill any trapped bacteria in the pores. Sometimes women will be prescribed birth control pills to clear up their acne condition or the doctor will use IPL Laser treatment for the problem. You should be aware; however, that while antibiotics might be effective as treatment for acne, they should not be taken as a long term acne treatment as these medications can cause terrible side effects when used for long periods.

For people who suffer from acne, it is very important for them to get to know how to take care of their skin. If you suffer from acne, you probably know by now that there are some things you need to be very careful about in order not to breakout more and to keep your skin as healthy- looking as possible. I want to share with you 5 basic suggestions, which will help you in your fight against your acne.

  1. Use Sunscreen for protection against the sun and harsh weather.
It is sometimes believed that exposure to sunlight helps with getting rid of acne, however it is not entirely true; in fact, radiation pollutants and extremely dry skin will make you breakout even more. When you use sun block (SPF 15-30 will do, unless if you’re going to spend the entire day on a beach/outdoors you can use higher SPF) you will help protect your skin from the sun and the wind.
If your skin is oily try to find an oil-free sunscreen, if your skin type is normal to dry you can even use a moisturizer with your sun -block.
  2. Exfoliating Regularly
In order to help your skin clear away the excess build-up of dry skin that causes blockage of pores and further breakout and even causes wrinkles, it is very important that you exfoliate your skin regularly. Exfoliation is a natural process of your skin as it gets rid of the outer skin. Some people are genetically exposed to the slowing down of this natural process causing them to be more prone to acne. Therefore using the right kind of exfoliation for your skin-type will help your skin to speed up this process, and prevent blocked pores. There are a number of methods used for exfoliation:

Alpha and beta hydroxyl acids, which are available over-the-counter. They are usually inexpensive, work within 6 to 8 weeks, and range from 5% to 20% intensity for mild to moderate peeling.

Dermabrasion usually performed by a doctor, and is much like the sanding process, includes peeling of 4 layers of skin. This method is expensive and requires a long period of recovery.

Peels (there are several types of peels like TCA peel, Phenol peel and so on).

  3. Carefully Choose Your Soap or Face Wash
You have to absolutely be careful not to over dry your skin by using the wrong types of soaps. There are a lot of products out there that seem to not just clear up the oil, but to extremely dry your skin, which as you might know causes more oil production and more breakouts. What you therefore need is a glycerin or sorbitol based soaps that also help to balance your skin pH.
  4. Vitamin C and Water
It is very important that you get the whole 8 glasses of water every day. And to boost your immunity you will need a Vitamin C supplement (1000mg/day… check with physician for right dosage for you), unless you’re allergic to it.
  5. Cutting Back Sugar Is the Best Key
Ignore it when people say that food doesn’t cause breakouts. In fact, whatever goes into your mouth could help worsen or cure up your acne. To find out more about the sugar-acne connection check my previous articles.

All in all, when it comes to sugar learn to know your boundaries, because even though it might not be a direct cause of acne, don’t underestimate the role it plays in causing more outbreaks. Eat more fresh fruits instead of the refined sugars.

For anyone who wants to know some beauty tips to treat pimples on their face — I’ll list some very effective ones here.

The first tip is to wash your face twice a day — with a mild cleanser. Be gentle and wash your face in a circular motion with your fingertips. Apply moisturizer after washing your face — if you have dry skin. Cetaphil has mild cleansers — and are recommended by dermatologists.

Try using less makeup — and even have some makeup free days. Always remove your makeup before going to bed. Use hypoallergenic makeup.

Don’t pop your pimples — you could cause a scar — and by forcing bacteria deeper into your skin — you may get cysts or nodules.

Keep your hands clean — you don’t want to spread bacteria to your face. Don’t use bar soap when washing your face or hands — bar soap quickly collects germs — spreading germs to your face and hands.

Eat healthy foods — add more fruits and vegetables to your diet. Drink fruit juices — instead of soda. Drink plenty of water to hydrate your skin. Get plenty of sleep. You might want to buy a steam machine for your face to open up your pores — so you can clean your face more effectively.

A light workout regimen would be good for you — you will perspire and help purge your clogged pores — and finish with a refreshing and cleansing shower after your workout.

You can take a multivitamin mineral pill to help ensure you are getting the nutrients your skin needs.

Try not to let yourself get too stressed out over everyday events. Too much stress can weaken your immune system — affecting the health of your skin — and your whole body.
